Daniel Sabo is a husband and father serving as a local church pastor and professor in the Pacific Northwest. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Practical Theology and a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies with a focus on counseling. In 2018, he and his family, along with a small group of believers, planted Household — a local church community in the Olympia, Washington area.
He has spent years studying church history and the original languages of the Old and New Testaments. He believes deeply in the local church community, plurality of leadership, the table at the center, and ordinary people carrying the extraordinary responsibility of sharing the message and work of Jesus Christ. His writing comes directly from his study and life in ministry and from the tension he feels between what he has read and what he currently sees.
Daniel teaches Old and New Testament Theology, Church History, and Foundations of Leadership at Northwest University and multiple ministry schools across the Pacific Northwest.
He is the author of "Out with the Old, In with the Ancient" and the multi-volume "Follow Me" devotional journal series. He is also the host of "the Ancient Paths Podcast", where he explores church history, the early church fathers, biblical languages, and the stories of the men and women who shaped the early church.
He lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife Treasa and their six adult children — Isaiah and Kaylene, Priscilla and Wyatt, Joshua, Marie, Lea and Cecil; and their growing families.
